Change is good

So yeah, I changed some things up in our girls room. Story of my life.

The cute wallstickers made place for these lovely prints. They’re actually postcards but I like them as walldecorations as well!
We’ve also been changing some things in our kitchen and I’m so excited about it. It’s not finished yet but I’ll show you the results when it’s done.

Have a lovely day!

Put a wallpaper on it

Remember the other day, when I was talking about my crazy habit? That whenever I see something that I want, I’ll try everything possible to have it done? (Now that balloon only goes up when it comes to interior design. Okay, and clothes. Shoes are included with clothes, naturally.)

I’ve been looking for a more affordable option of the super cute wallpaper from Ferm Living for my daughters room. Preferably in the exact same colour.
I just knew that someday I would bump into it. And I did. Lucky me!
Now it’s not mint green, but it’s a neutral grey and way cheaper. Bonuspoints!

Now my mother is my partner in crime on this one. Because we seem to contaminate each other with our decorating fever.
It only took us two hours and a lot of chatter on a rainy tuesday afternoon. And I couldn’t be more than happy with the results!

Nursery progressions

Wow. It has been weeks since I posted my last article here. As some of you might know, I’ve experienced some crazy, busy and pretty intense weeks.
But we’re on the right track now and I’m starting to find new inspiration and energy for my big love: decorating the house.

I’m on pregnancy leave at the moment and I’m enjoying it to the fullest! My head is overflowing with ideas for the nursery (that I haven’t been able to decorate yet, so I need to rush now..) and it’s a crazy idea that I can actually buy stuff for the babygirl now.
(I mean, legitimate shopping, hello!)

But untill the nursery isn’t ready to show off yet, I want to give you a peek on the colours that I like to use. The dresser is the only thing I’ve purchased yet and it’s an old example with a story behind it. I love furniture with a history!
I wanted it to be gray, but it turned out a bit more light blue and I actually like it. I’m not planning on making a complete pink room for the baby, I like things more neutral with soft colours.
To even out the blue I’m mixing it up with a lot of white (the floors are white), warm whites, delicate lace, dark gray and a hint of copper.

So here is quick impression of what I mean, do you like it?
